To stimulate local action, Community Guides
provide information on how to develop local long term
care workforce coalitions and suggestions on local
coalition activities. The Alliance believes that a
strong network of state and local stakeholders focused
on direct care worker issues will result in support
for workers that in turn will improve the quality
and reliability of community-based care.
